Diabetes is one of the fastest-growing health challenges in India. Rising obesity rates, earlier disease onset, and increasing complications have made diabetes care more complex than ever. Today, diabetes management extends beyond glucose control to include cardiovascular risk reduction, weight management, Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM), diabetes remission, and long-term patient care.
The Fellowship in Diabetes Management helps MBBS doctors build expertise in evidence-based diabetes care. Additionally, the program strengthens skills in diagnosis, insulin management, CGM interpretation, modern therapeutics, and complication prevention. As a result, doctors can improve patient outcomes, enhance clinical decision-making, and confidently manage diabetes in everyday practice.
About the Fellowship
The Fellowship in Diabetes Management is a 12-month structured hybrid program featuring 11 months of expert-led online learning and 1 month of hands-on clinical observership. Designed specifically for MBBS doctors, the program combines interactive learning, real case-based discussions, assessments, and practical clinical exposure to develop comprehensive expertise in diabetes care.
Doctors gain in-depth knowledge of Type 1 Diabetes, Type 2 Diabetes, LADA, Gestational Diabetes Mellitus (GDM), secondary diabetes, insulin initiation and titration, diabetes emergencies, and long-term complication management. The curriculum also includes dedicated training in Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM), Ambulatory Glucose Profile (AGP) interpretation, Time-in-Range assessment, diabetes remission protocols, and modern therapeutics such as GLP-1 receptor agonists, dual agonists, and SGLT2 inhibitors.
