India’s demand for ICU-trained doctors is increasing faster than the supply. With rising chronic disease, trauma cases, ageing patients, and the lessons learned from COVID-19, hospitals urgently need doctors who can manage critically ill patients—not just train.
Today, over 70% of ICU roles are filled by MBBS doctors without formal ICU training. Hospitals are now prioritising doctors who are formally trained, clinically competent, and confident in high-acuity, high-stakes decision-making.
If you want to build strong clinical skills and step confidently into ICU or emergency roles, this fellowship bridges that gap.
About the Fellowship
The Advanced Fellowship in Critical Care Medicine is a 12-month, hospital-based program created and delivered by experienced intensivists and critical care faculty. The program blends structured learning, simulation training, and supervised clinical exposure so you gain real-world skills and not just theory.
You’ll train inside partnered ICUs, perform life-saving procedures, manage complex cases, and build decision-making confidence from Day 1. By the end of the program, you’ll be fully prepared to handle real ICU responsibilities in any clinical setting.
