The Fellowship in Medicine (FM) is a comprehensive 12-month hybrid program comprising 9 months of online learning and 3 months of supervised clinical training. It is designed to strengthen clinical competence through a structured, system-based curriculum focused on Internal Medicine.
The program equips doctors with practical skills in clinical reasoning, diagnosis, evidence-based management, emergency care, ECG and ABG interpretation, and patient communication through expert-led teaching, case discussions, simulations, and hands-on hospital training.
About the Fellowship
The transition from medical school to independent clinical practice is one of the most challenging stages in a doctor’s career. While medical graduates possess strong theoretical knowledge, many seek additional structured training to develop confidence in clinical decision-making, patient management, and day-to-day hospital practice.
The Fellowship in Medicine has been developed to bridge this gap through a structured learning pathway that combines academic training with supervised clinical exposure. The program is especially valuable for Foreign Medical Graduates (FMGs) adapting to the Indian healthcare system, as well as MBBS graduates, junior doctors, medical officers, and physicians looking to strengthen their clinical foundation.
Job Guarantee at KIMS Hospital
As part of this fellowship, candidates who successfully complete the 3-month clinical training period and meet KIMS Hospital’s clinical performance and assessment standards are guaranteed a job placement at KIMS Hospital. This is one of the few FMG fellowship programs in India offering a direct, structured pathway from training to hospital employment.
Eligibility:
- Foreign Medical Graduates (FMGs)
- MBBS Graduates
- Junior doctors entering hospital practice.
- Medical officers and duty doctors seeking to strengthen their clinical skills.
- Doctors preparing for residency training.
- Physicians seeking structured clinical upskilling.
